Noe Perez

Noe is a contemporary artist living in Corpus Christi, TX. Noe's artistic education began early in his teens by studying with a local artist and is still going on today.  Most recently, he has attended plein air painting workshops with PAPA artists Ron Rencher and George Strickland.  He also learns from studying the works of painters that capture his attention and tries to bring some of that same feeling to his own work.  "Porfirio Salinas, Julian Onderdonk, Joaquin Sorolla...these artists' work never fails to inspire me."

"I want my paintings to capture the rugged beauty that I see all around me in the natural landscape.  Most of my work is done in the studio, but I enjoy plein air painting very much.  I feel that plein air painting is an essential exercise for any landscape painter."
